Customization FAQ
How do I add a name, text, or logo?
Choose a customizable product from the Custom Logo Printing menu, select the size and quantity, and open the product designer. Use Upload File, Add Text, or Add Graphic, then select the available front or back print location. Add any special instructions in the notes field before adding the design to your cart.
Is there a minimum order for custom printing?
No. Custom orders can start at one piece, although quantity discounts may apply to larger orders.
Are there setup fees for a new logo?
No. There is no separate logo setup fee. The product designer displays the applicable product and customization price.
How is customization pricing calculated?
The designer calculates customization from the selected printing method, design size range, total square-inch area, and each print location used. The price updates as the design changes, and the customization total shown in the designer is the price to use.
What artwork files work best?
Vector artwork such as SVG, EPS, or a print-ready PDF is preferred. A clean, high-resolution PNG or JPG can also work. Artwork may require adjustment when it is blurry, low resolution, has an unwanted background, or is not ready for printing.
What is the difference between standard and reflective printing?
Standard printing supports full-color artwork, including gradients. Reflective specialty printing uses only silver reflective material similar to the reflective material on a safety vest. Reflective specialty printing is not available in multiple colors and is not metallic foil.
Can I print on both the front and back?
Many custom products support front and back printing. Use the print locations offered in that product’s designer. Each decorated print location is priced separately.
Can I add more than one line of text?
Yes. Use Add Text for each separate line, subject to the available print area and any character limits in the designer.
How do I order different logos or text on different items?
Create and add each different design to the cart separately. Use the quantity field when multiple items will use the same design.
Do you offer discounts on bulk custom orders?
Yes. Eligible quantity discounts are applied automatically where offered. The product page or checkout displays the current price for the selected quantity, and larger or more complex orders can request a formal quote.
Will I receive a proof before printing?
Our team reviews submitted artwork before production. If artwork needs adjustment, clarification, or confirmation, we will email a proof for approval. If you want a proof even when no adjustment is required, request one in the order notes.
How long do custom orders take?
Typical production estimates are 2–4 business days for orders up to 50 pieces and 4–8 business days for orders of 51–200 pieces after usable artwork and required approvals are received. The number of print locations, artwork adjustments, job complexity, current production volume, and peak-season demand can affect these estimates. Shipping time is additional, and orders over 200 pieces require confirmation.
Can you guarantee delivery by a certain date or rush an order?
Production and carrier transit times are estimates. Contact us before ordering when you have a firm needed-by date. Rush production or expedited shipping may be available after staff reviews the quantity, artwork, print locations, destination, and current production schedule.
Can I return a custom-printed item?
Custom-printed, personalized, and special-order merchandise is final sale unless Safety Vest Warehouse made an error or the item has a verified product defect. Review our Return and Refund Policy for complete details.
Can I purchase an item without customization?
Yes. Choose the plain, non-custom version of the product when available. Custom and plain listings are priced separately.
Do you save my design for future reorders?
Yes. Designs are retained for future reorders. Providing the previous order number or ordering email helps us locate the correct design.
